Ultra Fine designates the ground finish on all Hopfglass screens. It is the same finish used on soda-lime or borosilicate screens. Screens are hand ground using s propritary grit compound that has been developed for the finest grain and best blance of diffusion and light transmission “brightness”.
I need a replacement ground glass for my 8″x10″ camera. The glass (before I broke it) was set in a square 8″x10″ frame. What would be the replacement cost?
